A wonderful restaurant on Maranacook Lake that offers delicious meals and a friendly staff! A place where you can watch the pilots land and snowmobiles park to come eat lunch. Augusta Western Ave Bridge Replacement Updates
Ramp Reopened: The left turn onto Whitten Road from Western Avenue is now open, as reported on January 6, 2026!!
Temporary Bridge Removal: Crews are actively removing the old temporary bridge on Western Avenue.
Project Completion: The overall bridge replacement project is expected to finish by June 2026, according to City of Augusta
New Features: The project includes a new bridge with wider sidewalks, improved vertical clearance, and better pedestrian crossings
Throughout December, crews advanced work at the Western Avenue Bridge over I-95 in Augusta, focusing on ramp, sidewalk, signal, and safety improvements. Work included curb installation at Exit 109B, foundation and conduit work for overhead traffic signals, sidewalk subgrade work, and removal of temporary bridge elements. A new flared terminal was also added to the I-95 southbound guardrail to enhance roadside safety.
Juiced is set to close in Hallowell on January 17th. Come out and support before they do!
